SEREMI DE GOBIERNO: “ESTAMOS DANDO UNA RESPUESTA INTEGRAL EN MATERIA DE SEGURIDAD

La vocera se refirió a la inversión pública, agenda legislativa y políticas públicas impulsadas por el Ejecutivo.
La mañana de este martes 23 de julio, la seremi de Gobierno Paulina Larrondo Vildósola, se refirió a la contingencia en Radio Digital, donde aseguró que “como Gobierno estamos dando una respuesta integral en materia de seguridad para que, como Estado, cada institución realice los esfuerzos desde su rol”.
“Necesitamos que todos los actores estén involucrados, en eso el Presidente ha sido enfático y así lo hemos visto el fin de semana en lo ocurrido en la Región Metropolitana. Una respuesta unitaria es la única forma que nos permitirá avanzar: por un lado está la gestión y por otro está la agenda legislativa”, agregó Larrondo.
En materia de seguridad, el Gobierno del Presidente Gabriel Boric presentó el Fast Track Legislativo con 32 Proyectos de Ley, donde destacan los Proyectos sobre resguardo de zonas fronterizas, la creación del Ministerio de Seguridad Pública y levantamiento del secreto bancario. “El Gobierno presentó una robusta agenda legislativa, esperamos contar con la voluntad del Parlamento para avanzar en una mejor respuesta a la ciudadanía”, señaló la seremi.
Respecto a la inversión pública, la secretaria ministerial informó que “este Gobierno ha sido el que más ha invertido en seguridad, que tiene como foco principal fortalecer la institucionalidad del Estado. En la Región, se han destinado más de 74 mil millones al combate a la delincuencia y al fortalecimiento del equipamiento e infraestructura de las policías, lo que ha sido reforzado por la disposición de recursos por parte del Gobierno Regional”, destacó la vocera.
Entre las políticas públicas impulsadas en materia de seguridad en la Región de Antofagasta destacan el Plan Calles Sin Violencia, que ha logrado detener a 1.826 personas, recuperado 57 vehículos y desarticulado a 14 bandas delictivas a junio de 2024; y la renovación de automóviles de Carabineros, que lleva un 49% de cumplimiento y más de $2.600 millones de inversión. Respecto a los programas ejecutados por la Subsecretaría de Prevención del Delito en las nueve comunas de la región, la inversión asciende a $1.853.570.145.
